Piha ENGAGEMENT | Amy & Janssen

I absolutely loved capturing Amy & Janssen’s engagement session at Piha. The black-sand beach, rugged cliffs, and wild surf created the most breathtaking backdrop, especially as the sun set and wrapped everything in golden light. It felt so natural and effortless—the two of them laughing, holding hands, and soaking up the moment together. For me as a photographer, it’s these quiet, intimate moments against such a dramatic landscape that make Piha one of my favourite places to shoot.
